‘Halfway ‘Round The World’ was written in 1994 while living on five acres above Secret Beach in Kilauea. My love KK was on a two-week holiday in Bali where phone calls were not much of an option for staying in touch. I thought if I envisioned her hard enough she would get my SOS and know I was missing the hell out of her . It worked!

Cliff Hugo - the bassist on this track - also played bass on my 2nd CD The Island. Cliff has performed and recorded with many artists including Ray Charles and Supertramp.
